Every year Macklind Mile works with a local charity partner. We are excited to share our 2026 charity partner Peregrine Society.
The St. Louis Peregrine Society is a local nonprofit founded in 1949 by a group of caring St. Louis women who recognized the need to establish a community service organization dedicated to the care of cancer patients. Seventy seven years later, their vision is still a vital part of cancer care in the St. Louis area with oncologists and social workers referring hundreds of newly diagnosed patients annually. Peregrine programs are designed to help individuals as they go through treatment to a successful outcome. Services include; transportation to radiation/chemotherapy treatments; monthly deliveries of nutritional supplements (Boost); colostomy, incontinent and other types of medical supplies; medical equipment; prescription medications and more. All services are provided free of charge. In 2025, Peregrine enrolled 1,087 new cancer patients and provided continuing services to another 800.
